Body Beautiful from the inside out is the backbone of our core values at Protein World. Our aim is to help every person become the best version of themselves, and who better to help us spread this message than self confessed ‘gym bad ass’ and hottest fitness inspiration on the planet… Khloe Kardashian. Khloé has joined the Protein World family and spoken exclusively about all things health and fitness to bring you her top tips and advice on smashing those New Year New You goals.

My biggest piece of advice is to remind ourselves that we all have to start somewhere. I also love that someone once told me you can’t get it all in one day. I remember when I first started I was so frustrated that I did not have this body in the first week I started working out. Obviously if it was easy everybody would have their dream bodies, but it takes work and perseverance. It takes dedication and literal sweat and tears. That said, it’s the most rewarding feeling ever.

Beginners, or people who are new to training of any kind, often have fears that have the potential to hold them back from achieving their goals. Intimidation is a huge factor. When walking into a gym, beginners often feel intimidated. Like they are the skinniest or fattest person there or that they are too weak.  Use this as your motivation. I used to walk in the gym and kind of pick people apart and use different body parts as what would motivate me to continue my cardio for the day. I’m a visual person so I like to have goals visually. You also have to remember to set realistic goals.

Anything worth having is worth fighting for. When you hurt the most, when your mind is drained, these are the moments when you must persevere. Only then will you transform mind, body and soul. What brings me the greatest satisfaction is setting out a goal and actually achieving it. I was always told that I could never be a certain size or that I could never look a certain way and that really got to me.

I’ve been using Protein World’s Slender Blend for a while now and have grown to love the shakes. Alongside my busy lifestyle and my training regime the shakes help me build strength and maintain a balanced diet. Training can be hard sometimes, remember… if you fall down and if you mess up on your diet… don’t stay down. You get back up and you say: “OK tomorrow I’m going to work out a little bit harder.” We all have those days, but it’s nothing to completely fall off track about. Let that just motivate you to be that much better the following day.
